Knockando Church; 2004 – 0.4m x 0.4m
This little memorial window is in memory of the late Mr Charlie Robertson, a former engineer and hill farmer near Knockando. Mr Robertson loved the moor in autumn. On one side of the wall is a drift of fallen leaves, including the ‘rowan’ and its little jewel berries – a tree native to the Scottish hills. A salmon peeping up from the water symbolises Mr Robertson's love of fishing. In the border pattern the ears of corn symbolise farming; the nuts and copper rivets symbolise engineering.
